POSITION SUMMARY:
Wellspring is seeking a part-time Assistant Billing Specialist. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Medicaid billing processes, experience working with managed care organizations, and experience working with non-profit agencies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s or Associate degree or equivalent experience

POSITION SUMMARY:
Wellspring is seeking a part-time Assistant Billing Specialist. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Medicaid billing processes, experience working with managed care organizations, and experience working with non-profit agencies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with non-profits, government grants, and Medicaid.
- Extensive knowledge of Medicaid billing processes.
- Experience working with Medicaid managed care organizations.
- Proficient with electronic health record systems
Bachelor’s or Associate degree or equivalent experience
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Process weekly and monthly Managed Care, Medicaid, and Medicare billing.
- Research and resubmit Managed Care, Medicaid and Medicare denials.
- Apply Managed Care, Medicaid and Medicare payment as received.
- Prepare end of month documents and billing summary sheets for Medicaid, Medicare to enter into the general ledger system.
- Filing, organization, and maintenance of Managed Care, Medicaid, and Medicare files.
- Communicate with program staff and electronic health records team to resolve incomplete billing data in electronic health record for Managed Care, Medicaid, and Medicare programs.
- Maintain all rates in the electronic health record system for payors for Medicaid, managed care organizations, and Medicare.
- Maintains knowledge and understanding of Managed Care, Medicaid, Medicare, billing and compliance procedures.
